Archery
At Canterbury Field
Sports we can instruct introductory sessions in archery to the standards of the
Grand National Archery Societies community sports leader award. Sessions can be for up to 12 participants and
are ideal for Scouts working towards their Master at Arms badges or individuals
who would like to find out more about the sport.
For the more advanced
archer we can carry out assessments of the archers hold, aim and release using
a Noptel electronic training aid. This
system enables the archer to understand their own performance and advice given,
thanks to the graphical replay and analysis system. This assessment combined with video imaging,
allows the archer to fully analyse their technique and shot process thus
maximise the benefits of their training sessions.

We offer instruction in; Bare-Bow Free-Style (Recurve) Bow Crossbow We can also offer electronic assessments for
Archers Shooting with an Olympic Recurve Bow. This system has clear benefits for archers
and more details can be found in the attached article. |
